Ya nevah know when ya need a pen...
While having dinner with my wife, she asked a question... What if an archeologist digs up your main character?

"Jørgen," Kristian said, "she's not human. The 3D CT scan of the burial clothes and her hair showed she had pointed ears. Her DNA had a different chromosome. There are still 23 of them, but one was different - never cataloged in any human sample. I don't know what you found, but she's not entirely human. This is big... earth-shattering... like destroying religions kind of big."
This image is a no-shit beginning outline of a book. Twenty years in the Navy taught me always to carry a pen. Six years with the Arizona Rangers taught me to have at least two. My wonderful wife inspired this story by asking, "What if an archeologist digs up your main character?" In my first story (long since rewritten), she inspired the pivotal role of the Witch Doctor, elevating her from some crazy lady to the puppeteer manipulating the three kingdoms of Norðrlönd in a battle against the Necromancers of Gorathökk. This battle now transcends time when an archeologist named Jørgen Helsgaard discovers Lozen's body 1500+ years after she was buried.
How could Helsgaard's Heroine be relegated to a bog burial when she should have been sent to Valhalla in a funeral pyre? Who buried her in an oak casket?
We're going to have some fun with this one.
