Helsgaard's Heroine
Lozen, a homeless half-Aelf outcast, is arrested for a string of thefts and is given a choice: Trial and the dungeon, or become a spy for the king and report to Helsgaard Keep. The war left Aeldoria's economy in ruins, prompting many Aelfs to immigrate to Ravnsríki for new opportunities and a better life. As fate would have it, the Aelfs are good at more than just herbs and healing; they can turn their healing hands into pleasure hands, so a night with an Aelf becomes the hottest commodity in the Helsgaard Plateau.
Capitalizing on rapid population growth and demand for recreation and relaxation after a miner's hard day digging in the dirt, Lozen side-hustles as Madam Lozen by running Helsgaard's House of Heroic Healing and Whoring when she is not on the king's spy missions.
The exotic allure of the Aelfinn healing hands proves a potent tool for the spies operating within Ravnborg's bustling social scene. King Valdissen, ever vigilant, recognizes the opportunity presented by these clandestine encounters and promotes Lozen to oversee all Healing and Whoring operations, tasking her with extracting secrets from the unwary patrons, ensuring the security of his kingdom by uncovering any hidden threats lurking within the kingdom.

This leads to the discovery of a remarkably well-preserved body from 1500 years ago. After transporting the body to the Danish Museum of History, he investigates the remains of this intriguing woman, hoping to uncover details about her life and burial. With each examination, he seeks to reveal her story and illuminate the culture and traditions of her time.
The story turns unexpectedly when 3D CT imaging uncovers a startling detail. She had unmistakably pointed ears, suggesting a lineage beyond mere human ancestry. DNA analysis reveals an astonishing truth: One of her chromosomes had never been cataloged. Her DNA shows dwarfism, yet she was average in height. She is not entirely human, hinting at a complex and possibly otherworldly heritage that leaves Jørgen challenging everything he knows about human development on planet Earth.
When she arrives at his bedside, her red eyes filled with urgency and fear, his world is turned upside-down, and he reluctantly agrees to help her. Unbeknownst to him, this decision pulls him into a dangerous struggle against the Necromancers, malevolent beings determined to dominate humanity. As he becomes more entangled in their dark schemes, Jørgen realizes the stakes are higher than he ever imagined, unexpectedly testing his courage.
