Who is the Witch Doctor (AKA Seithr or Seeress)?

The Witch Doctor character first appears as a crazy lady living in the woods with whom Hrolf would talk. In the unpublished screenplay Blood on the Plains of Hel, Lozen seeks out the Witch Doctor to resurrect Rohand and is sent on a quest. (Don't worry - no spoilers - as that is what happened in the music videos, but that story is now in the trash pile.) After my wife read the first draft of Blood on the Plains of Hel, she saw the Witch Doctor as a puppeteer character manipulating world events, and so she does.

With this new idea, I had to make sure I wrote her into Helsgaard's Heroine and all subsequent stories to ensure she manipulates our heroes to do her bidding. Lucky for us, her strategy is beneficial for everyone in the Norðrlönd. The Orcs... not so much.

What does she have against the Orcs? Who doesn't have something against the Orcs?

Now the observant reader will notice the Humans characters sprinkle in Nordic words, and the Aelfs have something entirely different. What's this have to do with Alva? I leave that as an exercise for the reader :)
